Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed design, analysis, and simulation of aerospace components and systems using industry-standard tools.
- Contribute to the development of new concepts, architectures, and technologies for future aerospace platforms.
- Conduct structural, aerodynamic, thermal, and performance analysis, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Participate in design reviews, providing expert input and driving technical discussions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
- Support the testing and validation of prototypes and production systems, identifying and resolving engineering issues.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in aerospace engineering.
- Ensure all work adheres to quality, safety, and security protocols, including eligibility for UK security clearance.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in aerospace design, analysis, or development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN).
- Strong understanding of aerodynamic principles, structural mechanics, and materials science.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex engineering calculations and simulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
