Chronopost is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dispatch Rider with a valid license to join our dynamic team in Paris. This crucial role involves the swift and secure delivery of various packages to our valued customers across the city. As a Dispatch Rider, you will be the face of Chronopost, responsible for upholding our reputation for timely and efficient service. Your daily tasks will include navigating through Paris’s bustling streets, planning efficient routes, and ensuring that all parcels reach their destination in perfect condition and on schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Execute timely and safe delivery of packages, documents, and other items to designated locations within Paris.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and punctuality.
- Verify packages against delivery manifests and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of the company motorcycle/scooter, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team, customers, and other team members.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Chronopost professionally.
- Assist with loading and unloading of packages as required.
- Complete daily delivery logs and reports accurately.
Required Skills
- Valid motorcycle or scooter driving license (Permis A1 or A2 / BSR with relevant experience)
- Proven ability to navigate Paris streets efficiently and safely.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Good communication skills in French (both verbal and written).
- Physical stamina and ability to handle varying weather conditions.
- Customer-focused attitude and professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a professional dispatch rider or delivery driver.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applications.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- A clean driving record.
