Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with K-GAAP and IFRS.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and other critical financial accounts.
- Assist with tax compliance activities, including preparation of tax filings and supporting documentation.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary information and explanations.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide insightful analysis to support business decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of Korean Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (K-GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or KICPA (Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants) certification.
- Experience working in the automotive industry or a large multinational corporation.
