Key Responsibilities
- Learn and master menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
- Assist senior waitstaff in taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare tables, including setting up linens, silverware, and glassware.
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests with politeness and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Handle guest feedback and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
- Participate actively in all training sessions and apply learned concepts to daily tasks.
- Assist with cashiering duties and processing payments as needed under supervision.
- Support colleagues in various tasks to ensure seamless operations and a positive team atmosphere.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer service best practices and guest satisfaction.
