Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry items efficiently by color, fabric type, and level of soiling according to established procedures.
- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Load and unload machines carefully, ensuring proper use of detergents, softeners, and other cleaning agents.
- Fold, press, and hang clean laundry neatly and accurately for storage, distribution, or guest rooms.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before and after washing, applying appropriate treatment or reporting issues to supervisors.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and protocols.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
