Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers, ascertain their needs, and direct them appropriately within the pharmacy.
- Accurately process prescription pickups and over-the-counter sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions, providing correct change and issuing receipts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment at the pharmacy counter and customer waiting area.
- Assist with restocking shelves, checking expiry dates, and managing inventory under the supervision of a pharmacist or technician.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to general inquiries, and accurately direct calls to the appropriate pharmacy personnel.
