Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic NGO Program Trainee to join a dynamic team dedicated to community development and humanitarian efforts in Funtua, Katsina. Key Responsibilities
- Assist program staff in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of various community development projects.
- Support the coordination of workshops, training sessions, and community outreach activities.
- Help collect and compile data for program reports, M&E (Monitoring & Evaluation) activities, and proposals.
- Participate in field visits to project sites, engaging with beneficiaries and local stakeholders.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the program team, including scheduling, documentation, and procurement assistance.
- Contribute to the development of communication materials and advocacy efforts.
- Conduct basic research on community needs, best practices, and funding opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to program activities and beneficiaries.
- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and feedback for program improvement.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hausa.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently.
- Demonstrated passion for social impact and community development.
- High level of integrity, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.

Preferred Qualifications
