Key Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery efficiently and safely, following all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Inspect products for quality defects, proper sizing, and integrity before packaging, ensuring only compliant items are packed.
- Accurately label, sort, and stack packaged products onto pallets according to specific guidelines and order requirements.
- Perform routine quality checks on packaged goods, reporting any discrepancies or machinery malfunctions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift, adhering strictly to all hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting and recording finished goods for dispatch.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other production staff to meet daily output targets and deadlines.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge of packaging processes.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely and efficiently.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 kg repeatedly.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels, recording data, and counting inventory.
- Commitment to workplace safety and strict adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a manufacturing, production, or factory setting, particularly in packaging.
- Familiarity with operating basic packaging equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of basic quality control procedures and best practices in a production line.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing production schedules and priorities without compromising quality.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
