Job Description
We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team in Riga. As CFO, you will be instrumental in guiding Printful’s financial strategy, ensuring sustainable growth, and optimizing our financial performance in a rapidly evolving global market. This is a pivotal role that requires not only deep financial expertise but also a strong understanding of the tech and e-commerce landscape. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, treasury, tax, and investor relations. You’ll play a critical role in strategic decision-making, M&A activities, and capital allocation, directly impacting our long-term success. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing finances for a high-growth tech company, demonstrating exceptional leadership, analytical capabilities, and the ability to drive financial excellence across the organization. You will work closely with the CEO and other executives to translate business vision into robust financial plans, manage risks, and ensure regulatory compliance, all while maintaining our innovative and agile company culture. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Printful's financial strategy to support long-term growth and profitability goals.
- Lead and manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation processes.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Board of Directors on key business decisions, investments, and potential M&A opportunities.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to ensure optimal financial health and liquidity.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, development, and excellence.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including investors, auditors, banks, and legal counsel.
- Drive financial initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall profitability.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks, providing proactive solutions and strategic recommendations.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with at least 3-5 years as a CFO or VP of Finance in a growth-stage tech company.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies in an international context.
- Deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), internal controls, and corporate governance.
- Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and capital market transactions.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Superior analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex financial information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or ACCA/CFA designation.
- Experience with IPO preparations or managing finances through significant growth phases.
- Background in e-commerce, SaaS, or manufacturing sectors.
- Multilingual capabilities, particularly English and Latvian.
