Are you a highly motivated and analytical recent graduate with a passion for financial markets? UBS AG invites you to apply for our Investment Analyst Graduate Position in Zürich. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of companies, industries, and market trends to identify investment opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models, including valuation models, discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses, and comparative company analyses.
  • Perform in-depth research on economic data, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that could impact investment portfolios.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and commentaries for senior analysts, portfolio managers, and client-facing teams.
  • Assist in the monitoring and analysis of existing investment portfolios, evaluating performance against benchmarks and objectives.
  • Support the due diligence process for potential investments, gathering and synthesizing relevant information.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the investment bank and wealth management divisions to share insights and foster integrated strategies.
  • Participate in client meetings and calls, providing support and contributing to the articulation of investment recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of financial concepts and valuation methodologies.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced modeling capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information, draw logical conclusions, and present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine passion for financial markets and investment analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a high-performing team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship experience in finance, investment banking, or asset management.
  • Progress towards CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation (e.g., passed CFA Level I).
  • Proficiency in additional languages, particularly German or French.
  • Familiarity with financial databases and tools such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, or FactSet.
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation.
