Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport the employer to various destinations, including business meetings, personal appointments, and social engagements.
- Plan optimal routes considering traffic conditions to ensure timely arrival and departure.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, ensuring regular cleaning, servicing, and necessary repairs.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (tyre pressure, oil, fuel, lights, etc.) to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage, packages, and other items as required.
- Run errands for the employer, such as picking up dry cleaning, shopping, or delivering documents.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a high level of discretion, privacy, and confidentiality regarding the employer’s affairs.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with the employer and other household staff.
- Be flexible with working hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
- Ensure the safety and security of the employer and the vehicle at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver’s License (Class E or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable professional driving experience (private driver, corporate driver, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks, including Marina and surrounding areas
- Proven track record of safe driving and an impeccable driving record
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Punctuality and reliability
