Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping all areas of the residence to a high standard.
- Manage laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organization for the family, including delicate items and designer clothing.
- Oversee grocery shopping, meal planning, and preparation of healthy, nutritious meals for the family, with particular attention to children's dietary needs.
- Provide attentive and engaging childcare for school-aged children, including school drop-offs and pick-ups, homework supervision, and planning enriching activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of children's rooms and play areas.
- Assist with errands and personal shopping as required by the family.
- Manage household inventory, including cleaning supplies, groceries, and personal care items.
- Perform light gardening tasks or oversee garden maintenance if necessary.
- Arrange and supervise external contractors for household repairs or maintenance when required.
- Ensure the security and safety of the home and children at all times.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with the parents regarding children's development and household matters.
- Adapt to the family's schedule and needs, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in a combined Housekeeper/Nanny role within a private household.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and household management.
- Demonstrated experience in childcare, including supervising activities and assisting with homework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Discretion, trustworthiness, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in English and/or French.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Valid driver's license (preferably with experience driving in Paris/France).
