Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Laundry Supervisor to oversee the comprehensive laundry operations for a prominent hotel client located in Ogudu, Lagos. This vital role is at the heart of maintaining the impeccable standards of cleanliness and guest comfort that define our client’s brand. As Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all laundry processes, from collection and sorting to washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distribution of linens, towels, uniforms, and guest items.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the hotel laundry department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Train, schedule, and evaluate laundry staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee the sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distribution of all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure all items meet the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Monitor and manage laundry chemical usage, ensuring proper handling, dosage, and safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular inventory counts of linens and supplies, place orders as needed, and minimize wastage and loss.
- Perform routine checks on laundry equipment, identify maintenance needs, and report issues to engineering promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the laundry area.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry production, chemical consumption, and equipment maintenance.
- Liaise with other hotel departments (Housekeeping, F&B) to ensure timely delivery and collection of laundry items.
- Address and resolve any guest or internal complaints regarding laundry services professionally and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in laundry operations management, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
