Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and accurately check incoming shipments against invoices and purchase orders.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training may be provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or operational issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with periodic inventory audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate, Stock Clerk, or similar role for at least 6 months.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and data entry (e.g., MS Excel).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks consistently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and stock reconciliation.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in supply chain management or logistics is a plus.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
