Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverage items with speed, efficiency, and consistent quality.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments using the POS system.
- Handle room service beverage orders, ensuring proper packaging and timely delivery to guest rooms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment, including seating areas and service counters.
- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, notifying management of low stock levels.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and ensuring a positive experience.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any service issues promptly and courteously.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista, preferably in a hotel or high-volume café setting.
- Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso machine operation, and latte art.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
