We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Nuremberg. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, workflows, and functional requirements, identifying pain points and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders (internal and external) to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, concise, and comprehensive user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, designers, and development teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Model business processes using standard notations (e.g., BPMN) and create visual representations of system behavior.
- Support quality assurance activities by defining test cases, reviewing test plans, and validating solutions against requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for specific product areas, providing guidance and insights to cross-functional teams.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business value.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and identify new opportunities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys).
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
- Proficiency in German (C1 level or native) and English (B2 level or fluent).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC).
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PSM I, PSPO I).
- Experience in the financial, accounting, legal, or tax software industry.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and design thinking methodologies.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
