Career.supersecrets is actively seeking passionate and highly skilled freelance Photographers specializing in Events and Commercial work to join our growing network of creative professionals in Zuba, Abuja. As a freelance Photographer partnered with Career.supersecrets, you will be instrumental in helping our clients tell their unique stories through compelling visual content. We are looking for an artist who possesses not only exceptional technical skills with camera equipment and lighting but also a keen eye for detail, an understanding of composition, and the ability to work independently while adhering to project briefs. You’ll be responsible for the full spectrum of photography services, from pre-production planning and on-site execution to post-production editing and final delivery of images.

Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand project requirements, scope, and desired outcomes for events and commercial shoots.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including equipment selection, location scouting, and lighting setup.
- Execute high-quality photography during events (e.g., conferences, weddings, parties) and commercial assignments (e.g., product, corporate portraits, lifestyle).
- Direct subjects and models effectively to achieve desired poses and expressions.
- Manage and organize photographic equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained and in excellent working condition.
- Perform professional post-production tasks, including image selection, color correction, retouching, and cropping using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Adhere strictly to project deadlines and deliver final edited images in specified formats.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with Career.supersecrets project managers and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously develop and refine photographic skills, techniques, and staying updated with industry trends.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Events and Commercial Photographer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of event and commercial photography work.
- Proficiency with professional-grade DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment.
- Expertise in photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Excellent understanding of photography principles, including composition, lighting, and exposure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Reliable transportation to various shoot locations within Zuba, Abuja, and surrounding areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Photography, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Familiarity with drone photography for unique perspectives.
