Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical issues on various bicycle types, including road, mountain, hybrid, and electric bikes.
- Execute precise repairs, adjustments, and component replacements, covering areas such as brakes, gearing systems, wheels, suspension, and drivetrains.
- Conduct thorough routine maintenance services, including tune-ups, chain lubrication, tire changes, and safety checks.
- Assemble and meticulously set up new bicycles according to manufacturer specifications and individual customer preferences.
- Provide expert, friendly advice to customers on bicycle care, preventative maintenance, optimal upgrade options, and safe riding practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Manage spare parts inventory, track usage, and report stock requirements to ensure availability.
- Stay updated with the latest bicycle technology, tools, industry trends, and advanced repair techniques through continuous learning.
- Accurately document all services and repairs performed, including parts used and time spent, for customer records and internal tracking.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Bicycle Mechanic or Technician.
- Strong understanding of bicycle components, systems, and their interactions across various brands and models.
- Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools specific to bicycle repair and maintenance.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as an integral part of a dedicated service team.
- Good communication skills with the ability to clearly explain repairs and advise customers effectively.
- Physical stamina and dexterity required for lifting and manipulating bicycles and components.

- Professional certification from recognized bicycle mechanic schools (e.g., Barnett Bicycle Institute, UBI, Cytech).
- Extensive experience with high-end road bikes, full-suspension mountain bikes, or electric bikes.
