Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with experimental setup, execution, and data collection.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and media according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Accurately record and document experimental results, observations, and procedures in lab notebooks.
- Manage laboratory inventory, stock supplies, and ensure proper storage of chemicals and samples.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, quality control standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Perform routine quality checks on samples and reagents to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design and results.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific field.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, sterile technique, solution preparation).
- Ability to follow complex instructions and protocols accurately.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting (academic or industrial, including internships).
