Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team as Tricycle Drivers in Paris. While the term ‘Keke’ typically refers to motorized auto-rickshaws in other regions, in France, this role pertains to operating pedal-assist cargo tricycles for last-mile delivery or passenger tricycles (velo-taxis) for urban transport. As a Tricycle Driver, you will be a vital link in connecting our clients with their customers, delivering a wide range of goods—from restaurant meals to retail packages—or providing eco-friendly urban passenger transport, all while navigating the vibrant streets of Paris. This role demands excellent navigation skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the physical stamina to operate a tricycle for extended periods. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe deliveries/rides, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, and representing Stuart’s commitment to sustainable urban logistics. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a pedal-assist cargo tricycle or velo-taxi safely and efficiently within designated areas of Paris.
- Perform timely pick-ups and deliveries of goods or transport passengers according to scheduled routes and customer requests.
- Ensure the safe and secure handling of all items or passengers during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Accurately use our mobile application for route optimization, delivery tracking, and communication.
- Conduct daily pre-shift checks of the tricycle for safety and operational readiness.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly to the operations team.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean and presentable appearance for the tricycle and yourself.
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and adjust routes as necessary.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to ride a bicycle or tricycle confidently and safely in urban environments.
- Excellent sense of direction and ability to navigate using GPS and maps.
- Strong customer service skills and a polite, approachable manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift moderate weights (for cargo tricycles).
- Fluent in French (both written and spoken) for effective communication with customers and team.
- Valid EU driving license (B category) if operating certain types of electric cargo tricycles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery, courier, or customer-facing transport role.
- Familiarity with the geography and traffic patterns of Paris.
