Job Description
This is a core role for our client’s hospitality team, offering a dynamic and engaging environment for a dedicated Waitstaff professional. As a pivotal member of the service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to guests within a room and board setting. You’ll work closely with kitchen staff and other front-of-house colleagues to maintain seamless service operations, ensuring that all food and beverage orders are handled efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, offering detailed information on daily specials, wine pairings, and menu items.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring correct order delivery to guests.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, promptly addressing any concerns or requests.
- Clear tables and reset them swiftly and meticulously according to established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down for special events or banquets as required.
- Handle guest payments accurately and process transactions using POS systems.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Waitstaff or in a similar front-of-house role (at least 6 months).
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including table settings and etiquette.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
