Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in accordance with local policies and professional standards.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualised care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, adhering to prescribed protocols.
- Monitor vital signs, interpret results, and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and concise patient records, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Adhere to infection control policies and promote a safe and clean clinical environment.
- Participate in ward rounds, handovers, and team meetings, contributing to care planning and problem-solving.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring dignity, respect, and rights are upheld.
Required Skills
- Valid Nursing qualification (Diploma or Degree)
- Current registration with a national nursing body (or eligible for NMC registration)
- Minimum of 12 months post-registration clinical experience in an acute or relevant setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in English (IELTS/OET scores meeting NMC requirements)
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a UK healthcare setting (highly beneficial but not essential).
- Specialist certifications or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant nursing field.
