Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed dietitians with daily tasks, including meal planning support, patient record management, and scheduling appointments.
- Prepare and organize educational materials for patients, such as nutrition pamphlets, food guides, and dietary instructions.
- Help maintain inventory of dietary supplies and ensure the availability of necessary resources for nutrition programs.
- Support patient intake processes by gathering preliminary information, distributing forms, and orienting new patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and managing correspondence related to dietetics services.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of special diet menus, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dietitian recommendations.
