Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across various platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to align with brand goals and recruitment initiatives.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging and original content (text, image, video) that resonates with our target audience of job seekers and employers.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a 'social' way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Oversee social media advertising campaigns, including budget management and performance optimization.
  • Analyse social media performance using appropriate analytics tools, generate reports, and translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and content teams to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaign execution.
  • Identify and engage with influencers and key opinion leaders in the recruitment and HR space.
  • Manage online reputation, respond to comments and queries, and foster a positive online community.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Required Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role (minimum 2.5 years)
  • Excellent knowledge of all major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in content creation, including writing, graphic design principles, and basic video editing.
  • Solid understanding of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrable creative flair and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience in the recruitment, HR, or professional services industry.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
  • Certification in Social Media Marketing (e.g., Hubspot, Facebook Blueprint).
  • Experience with A/B testing social media content and ad creatives.
