Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled masons with all aspects of bricklaying and blocklaying tasks.
- Prepare work areas, including setting up scaffolding, mixing mortar, and ensuring materials are readily available.
- Handle and transport bricks, blocks, and other building materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under direct supervision.
- Support with the loading and unloading of deliveries, ensuring accurate material counts.
- Learn and apply various masonry techniques, material properties, and construction best practices.
- Actively participate in site briefings, safety meetings, and training sessions.
- Assist in site setup, clear-down, and general labouring duties as required.

- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card.
- Previous experience working on a construction site, even in a general labouring capacity.
- Basic understanding of masonry tools and equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
