Career.supersecrets is actively seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our growing logistics team as an Entry Level Van Driver in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti. This is an exceptional opportunity for motivated candidates who possess a valid driver’s license and a strong work ethic, but may not have extensive professional driving experience. As a Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods across various locations within Ado-Ekiti and its environs. You will be the face of our service, interacting with clients and contributing directly to our reputation for excellence.
Your day will involve planning routes, loading and unloading merchandise, conducting pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company van to deliver various goods and packages to designated locations within Ado-Ekiti and surrounding areas.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in optimal working condition; report any issues promptly.
- Load and unload packages accurately and carefully, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Verify contents of cargo against delivery manifests to ensure accuracy before and after deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and relevant documentation.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and dispatch personnel.
- Navigate routes efficiently using maps or GPS, adapting to changing traffic and road conditions.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as sorting and organizing packages when not on delivery routes.
- Represent Career.supersecrets in a professional and courteous manner during all interactions.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of road safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25kg.
