Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using a POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, dining areas, and restrooms.
- Restock inventory, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting patrons warmly and resolving complaints professionally.
- Educate customers on menu items, coffee origins, and preparation methods.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Assist with other café duties as needed, such as light food prep or merchandising.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a barista in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent coffee preparation and latte art skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.
