Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide remote individual counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address client concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with clients to establish measurable goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely client records, progress notes, and other documentation in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
- Actively participate in regular clinical supervision sessions, presenting cases, seeking guidance, and engaging in continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive client care and support.
- Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, legal requirements, and company policies pertaining to mental health practice and telehealth.
- Empower clients to develop coping strategies, improve self-awareness, and achieve their personal and therapeutic goals.

Required Skills
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong foundational knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and ethical principles.

- Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and active listening abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- In process of obtaining licensure (e.g., Associate Professional Clinical Counselor – APCC, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist – AMFT) in California.
- Prior experience or practicum/internship in providing mental health services.
- Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
- Bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) to serve a broader client base.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for documentation.
