Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided van for daily deliveries and pickups within the designated service area.
- Accurately load, unload, and secure goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow pre-determined routes and schedules, adapting to traffic, weather conditions, and unexpected delays as needed.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, manifest documentation, and any required electronic logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor during all interactions at delivery and pickup points.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with dispatch and other team members regarding route status, delays, or issues.
- Represent Career.supersecrets professionally, projecting a positive image of our brand at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, sorting, or package preparation tasks when not on route, if required and able.
Required Skills
- Valid California Class C Driver's License.
- Clean driving record (DMV report required upon request).
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in van driving or logistics operations.
- Strong navigational skills and familiarity with the Fresno metropolitan area.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills (ability to read, write, and speak English clearly).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
