Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company van safely and efficiently to deliver goods to various locations within the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage.
- Follow planned delivery routes and schedules, adapting to traffic and unforeseen delays while maintaining timely deliveries.
- Verify accuracy of delivery contents against shipping documents, obtaining necessary signatures and documentation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving laws and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Career.supersecrets professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and electronic tracking data.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery status and issues.
Required Skills
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C or higher)
- Clean driving record (no major infractions in the last 3-5 years)
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong navigational skills and familiarity with San Francisco Bay Area routes
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Customer-service oriented with good communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
