Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting various electronic devices, including mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and home entertainment systems.
- Perform basic repairs, component replacements (e.g., screens, batteries, keyboards), and delicate soldering tasks under supervision.
- Conduct initial inspections and detailed functional tests on incoming and outgoing repair items to ensure quality and adherence to Jumbo's high standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all repair activities, parts used, and device status within our digital repair management system.
- Organize and maintain the repair workshop, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper inventory management of tools and spare parts.
- Provide support in customer communication regarding repair status updates and technical queries when required.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with new electronic technologies, advanced repair techniques, and product specifications through training and self-study.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of electronics principles and common electronic components.
- Familiarity with various hand tools used in electronics repair (e.g., screwdrivers, multimeters, soldering irons, heat guns).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service guides.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, systematic approach to problem-solving.
