As a Warehouse Operator at our Kayonza facility, you will be a vital part of our logistics team, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods. Key Responsibilities
- Participate fully in provided forklift training and achieve certification.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (post-certification) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
- Unload and load trucks manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring items are stored correctly and accessible.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
