Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company van for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, utilizing GPS and mapping tools to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling, securing of cargo, and prevention of damage.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, delivery confirmations, and proof of delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and customers regarding delivery status, delays, or any unforeseen issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized vehicle.
- Represent Career.supersecrets and its clients with professionalism, courtesy, and excellent customer service at all times.
- Resolve minor delivery discrepancies or issues on-site promptly and courteously, escalating complex matters to management.
- Assist with warehouse duties or other tasks as needed during periods of low delivery volume.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (Class C, non-CDL required)
- Clean driving record for the past 3-5 years (MVR check will be performed)
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in logistics, courier, or delivery services
- Strong knowledge of Las Vegas and surrounding area roadways, including efficient route planning
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted and handle heavier items with assistance
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude for routine vehicle checks and minor troubleshooting
- Proficient in using GPS, navigation systems, and smartphone-based mapping applications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude
