Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly skilled and passionate freelance Photographer specializing in both event and commercial photography to join our network of creative professionals in Gwagwalada, Abuja. As a freelance photographer with Career.supersecrets, you will be responsible for providing high-quality photographic services for various clients, including corporate events, social gatherings, product launches, lifestyle shoots, and corporate portraits. Your role will involve understanding client briefs, planning shoots, executing them with professionalism, and delivering stunning, edited photographs within agreed timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their specific photographic needs and vision for each project.
- Plan and execute event photography, including corporate functions, conferences, weddings, parties, and other social gatherings, capturing candid moments and key highlights.
- Conduct commercial photography sessions for product launches, marketing campaigns, corporate profiles, real estate, and lifestyle imagery.
- Manage and maintain professional-grade photography equipment, ensuring readiness for all assignments.
- Utilize advanced lighting techniques, composition, and posing to produce visually striking and impactful images.
- Perform comprehensive post-production work, including culling, color correction, retouching, and final editing, using industry-standard software.
- Deliver high-resolution, edited images in various formats according to client specifications and deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service throughout all interactions.
- Continuously update portfolio with new, high-quality work and stay abreast of industry trends and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless camera systems and lenses.
- Expertise in studio and on-location lighting techniques (natural and artificial).
- Advanced skills in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for post-processing and editing.
- Demonstrated ability to compose visually compelling and technically sound photographs.
- Strong understanding of color theory, exposure, and depth of field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, especially for juggling multiple projects.
- Proven experience in both event and commercial photography, showcased through a strong portfolio.
