Key Responsibilities
- Operate company cargo vans safely and efficiently according to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Load, unload, and secure various types of cargo, ensuring safe transport and delivery.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, adjusting for traffic and weather conditions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including recipient signatures and proof of delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling of materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing Career.supersecrets professionally.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as sorting and organizing packages when not on a delivery route.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, contributing to a professional image.
Required Skills
- Valid Ohio Class D driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (van or light truck).
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs independently.
- Strong geographical knowledge of Ohio and ability to use GPS/navigation tools.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for vehicle inspections and minor troubleshooting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
