Key Responsibilities
- Assist certified technicians with routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Learn to perform basic diagnostic checks and assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using specialized equipment.
- Support technicians in performing repairs on various vehicle systems (e.g., brakes, suspension, exhaust, steering components).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and cared for.
- Follow all safety protocols, company procedures, and industry standards diligently to ensure a safe working atmosphere.
- Shadow senior mechanics to observe and understand advanced repair techniques, complex diagnostic processes, and problem-solving strategies.
- Transport vehicles within the service center premises as required, ensuring careful handling.
- Complete assigned training modules, online courses, and workshops to continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, contributing to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- Assist with parts ordering, inventory management, and documentation when needed, learning about supply chain processes.
