Key Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided vans safely and efficiently for local and regional deliveries.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any issues.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage.
- Follow planned delivery routes and schedules, adapting to traffic and road conditions.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation for all shipments.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, interacting professionally with clients.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, and issues.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including sorting and organizing packages, as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid New Mexico Class D driver's license.
- Clean driving record (MVR) for the past 3-5 years.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong geographical knowledge of Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
