Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide remote and/or in-person counseling sessions to individuals and groups.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions appropriate for client needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records and documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary teams to optimize client care and outcomes.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision, ongoing professional development, and team meetings.
- Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available community resources.
- Adhere strictly to all HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of client confidentiality.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related mental health field.
- Provisional licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health counselor in Tennessee (e.g., LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT).
