Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the receiving, inspection, and proper storage of incoming goods, verifying against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts by performing regular stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency, accessibility, and safety.
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring correct items are picked, packed, and dispatched.
- Update inventory records using the designated inventory management system (IMS) with precision.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with inventory items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all inventory operations run smoothly and deadlines are met.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security policies and procedures within the warehouse environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within inventory operations.
- Generate basic inventory reports as required by supervisors.
