Key Responsibilities
- Assist bakers in the preparation of ingredients, including measuring, mixing, and portioning.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers under supervision.
- Prepare various baked goods, including breads, pastries, and cakes, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, equipment, and utensils according to food safety guidelines.
- Support the decorating and finishing of cakes and pastries as instructed.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Package finished products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, contributing to a harmonious team environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and quality control standards.
