Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams (as appropriate for telehealth), and diagnostic test interpretation.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions through evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Provide health education, counseling, and preventive care guidance to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic health records (EHR) documentation of all patient encounters.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Adhere strictly to all state and federal regulations, professional ethics, and company policies related to telehealth practice.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in California (APRN/NP)
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- ANCC or AANP board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or similar relevant certification
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine settings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong patient-centered approach
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms
- Strong critical thinking, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a virtual patient panel effectively
Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish)
- Experience with specific EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or similar
