Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat customers upon their arrival, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, paying close attention to dietary restrictions and special requests.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Process customer payments using the POS system, handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout shifts.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the café, including restocking supplies and preparing for the next service.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, aiming for complete satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and efficient under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and payment processing.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
