Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of gardening tasks including planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, edging, and precise fertilization to maintain landscape health and aesthetics.
- Install, repair, and maintain various irrigation and drainage systems to ensure optimal water management.
- Construct and repair hardscapes such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden features using diverse materials like natural stone, pavers, and timber.
- Operate and safely maintain a variety of landscaping equipment and power tools, including commercial mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and excavators.
- Monitor plant health, accurately identify common pests and diseases, and apply appropriate, environmentally responsible treatments.
- Prepare and cultivate soil for planting, including soil amendment, aeration, and mulching, to create optimal growing conditions.
- Ensure all work is executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction, adhering to project specifications and timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate progress, challenges, and material needs to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all company and industry health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide professional and courteous basic client interaction, upholding the company's reputation and image.
- Assist with seasonal clean-ups, leaf removal, snow clearance, and winterization tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Gardener, Landscaper, or similar role (minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience).
- Solid knowledge of horticulture, including plant identification, soil types, pest management, and plant care best practices.
- Proficiency in safely operating and maintaining a diverse range of landscaping tools and heavy machinery.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as an integral part of a collaborative team.
- Valid German Class B driver's license (or equivalent) is essential.
- Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong, proactive work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

- Possession of additional driving licenses (e.g., BE for trailers, C1 for larger vehicles).
