Job Description
Are you meticulously organized, trustworthy, and possess a keen eye for detail? Latio is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as House Sitters. In this essential contract role, you will be entrusted with the care and oversight of various high-value residential properties across Riga, ensuring their security, maintenance, and overall well-being during the temporary absence of their owners. This isn’t just about being present; it’s about providing peace of mind to our clients by maintaining their homes to impeccable standards, reflecting Latio’s commitment to premium property management.
As a House Sitter with Latio, you will be a vital part of our comprehensive property management services, offering a crucial layer of support that extends beyond basic security. Your responsibilities will encompass regular physical checks of the property, both interior and exterior, to identify any potential issues early. This includes ensuring all critical systems (heating, water, electricity) are functioning correctly, monitoring for leaks, structural damage, or other unforeseen problems, and responding to minor incidents promptly and professionally. You will be responsible for maintaining the general upkeep of the property, which may involve watering plants, collecting mail and newspapers, and ensuring the premises remain clean and orderly, adhering to the client’s specific instructions. For properties with pets, you may also be entrusted with their care, following detailed instructions provided by the owners, ensuring their well-being, feeding schedules, and routine are maintained, providing companionship and exercise as needed.
This role demands a high degree of discretion, responsibility, and excellent communication skills. You will act as Latio’s eyes and ears on the ground, providing regular, concise updates and reporting any significant observations or incidents to our property management team immediately. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work independently, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to property care, ensuring all aspects of the property are managed with respect and diligence. If you are looking for a flexible contract opportunity where your reliability, attention to detail, and integrity are highly valued, and you are passionate about providing exceptional service, we encourage you to apply. Join Latio and become an integral part of ensuring our clients’ properties are always in safe, capable, and trusted hands.
