Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Change bed linen and make beds, replenish amenities, and ensure all items are present and in good working order.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and clean bathrooms thoroughly.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Manage and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper usage and storage.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Assist with laundry and other related duties as assigned by the Head Housekeeper.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning services, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful demeanor.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a 3-star or higher hotel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS).
