Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engaging social media content (text, image, video) across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Actively engage with online communities, respond to comments, and foster positive interactions.
- Represent Career.supersecrets professionally and enthusiastically in online and potential local virtual engagements.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the Kenyan market.
- Provide feedback and insights on social media performance and audience engagement to the marketing team.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall brand strategy.
- Identify and engage with local influencers, thought leaders, and relevant community groups.
- Monitor brand mentions and contribute to reputation management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and content best practices.
- Creativity and ability to generate engaging and original content.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Resides in or has strong familiarity with Webuye, Kenya, and its local community.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, mobile video apps).
