Key Responsibilities
- Execute laboratory experiments and procedures under the guidance of senior scientists and researchers.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and media according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and electronic systems.
- Perform basic data analysis and assist in the interpretation of experimental findings.
- Adhere strictly to laboratory safety regulations, quality control standards, and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies, receiving materials, and maintaining stock levels.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific discussions and project planning.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in basic laboratory equipment operation (e.g., pipettes, centrifuges, pH meters).
