Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations, health histories, and psychosocial assessments.
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health problems.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, including laboratory, imaging, and other specialized procedures.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and other therapeutic interventions.
- Provide health education, counseling, and guidance to patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
- Participate in daily rounds, case conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Document patient encounters accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Conduct research, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to evidence-based practice within the hospital.
- Act as a resource and mentor for nursing staff and students, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
Required Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Korea.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner specialization from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years (60 months) of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years in an advanced practice role.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Proficiency in prescribing medications and managing therapeutic regimens.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, exercising sound clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Competency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty (e.g., Adult-Gerontology, Family, Acute Care, Pediatrics).
- Experience working in a large academic medical center or teaching hospital.
