Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed test cases and scripts to identify software defects and inconsistencies across various applications.
- Document, track, and report bugs and issues using designated bug tracking systems, providing clear and concise reproduction steps.
- Collaborate actively with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure bug fixes are implemented correctly.
- Participate in review meetings, contributing insights and feedback to improve product quality and testing processes.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive test plans and test data.
- Learn and apply industry-standard QA methodologies and best practices under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, helping to validate that solutions meet business requirements and user expectations.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and testing techniques quickly.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with any bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) or test management software.
