Key Responsibilities
- Sort and categorize all incoming laundry items (linens, towels, uniforms, guest laundry) according to fabric type, color, and required washing method.
- Operate and monitor industrial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, stains, damage, and repair needs, ensuring only pristine items are returned to circulation.
- Perform pressing and folding of linens, towels, and guest clothing to meet hotel standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including regular cleaning of equipment and work surfaces.
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies, detergents, and chemicals, reporting low stock levels promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with other departmental duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Required Skills
